This event is probably the biggest change in telecoms history that has occurred in the last few decades! We’re calling it the ‘Big Switch Off’.
You will probably now be aware of what is going to happen, but in short, BT* have announced that they are switching off their analogue and ISDN lines in 2025. This will force schools (businesses and homes too) to make changes to their existing telephone provision.
*NB BT Openreach own most of the UK’s telecoms line network, so even if you are with a different provider, this will still apply to your school.
